City Council approves PBID and Ferry Landside Project bid!

Congratulations Positive People for Sausalito! You've played an essential role in helping Sausalito make a giant leap forward in enhancing our downtown waterfront! 🎉

Two major wins last night!

The ballots for the Property Business Improvement District (PBID) were opened, and 87% of downtown business property owners voted in favor. Following a robust discussion, the City Council also expressed strong support, with a 4-1 vote to approve the formation of the PBID. It took 7 council meetings to make this happen!

Voted to approve the formation: 4 - Councilmembers Blaustein, Cox, Kellman, Sobieski

Voted not to approve the formation: 1 - Councilmember Hoffman

After seven years, the Ferry Landside Improvement Project is finally moving forward! The City Council unanimously voted to accept the construction bid, including transforming Tracy Way into a pedestrian promenade, setting the stage for work to begin this fall before the rainy season.

Voted to adopt the resolution to accept the bid: 5 - Councilmembers Blaustein, Cox, Hoffman, Kellman, Sobieski

Voted not to adopt the resolution: 0
